Sep 3, 2020

Myles Westbrook will be returning to the RoadRunners this season to bolster the teams blue-line.  Westbrook the 20 year old veteran defenseman from St.  Francis, MN. is a 6′ 170 lb with great skating skills and a good shot.

“It’s great to know that Myles wants to re-join his team and as only one of a handful of returners to the program he will be counted on day in and day out to lead the way this season.  It will be great to have Myles back with us.” States Head Coach Mike Beavis

In 45 games last season Westbrook tallied 3 goals and 14 assists and had time up with the parent club in Odessa NAHL.   This season Westbrook will be looking to turn the heads of college programs where he can not only further his education but take his hockey career to the next level.

“I met most of this years players at Odessa’s main camp this summer and I really liked what I saw and heard from the recruits.  I spent time talking with Garrett Wilderman (Runners Captain) and some of the guys and knew the team outlook was just what I was looking for.”  Stated Westbrook.

Westbrook and his teammates will arrive in Bryan / College Station in a little over a week and will hit the ice Monday September 14th for a two week training camp.  The NA3HL league schedule should be released in the near future for the 2020-2021 season.
