Texas Heat Defenseman Anderson Joins Roadrunners

Wyatt Anderson has been called up for the remainder of the season from the Texas Heat U 18 AA program.  “Wyatt was pivotal in the building of our inaugural 18U team.  He stepped in as a leader and powerhouse on the blue-line.  We can’t wait to se how he performs with the Roadrunners.” states Matt Houk Head Coach Texas Heat

Anderson joined the Runners this week and will add some needed help to the teams back end.  Wyatt has junior experience in juniors as he appeared in 45 games last season with the Mid Cities Jr.  Stars adding 3 goals and 7 assists as a 15 year old.

Anderson, at 6′ 170 the 07 birth year from Columbus, OH. will make his Roadrunners debut this weekend as the Runners will travel to Lafayette, Louisiana to take on the first place Drillers in a very important series as both teams approach the mid season mark and are looking to lock in their positions for the NA3HL showcase in Blaine, MN December 15-17.

“Wyatt, joined us for a skate this week and the guy’s thought he would be a great addition to the team.  We were looking for some help on D and felt that he could be a guy that could jump in this season as well as be a part of our program in the future as well.”  Added Runners Head Coach Mike Beavis.

The Runners will head to Louisiana Friday morning where they will faceoff against the Drillers in a three game set on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  All games will start at 4PM CST.  Be sure to catch all the action live on nahltv.com
