Wyatt Mineheine continued his hot streak, earning weekly honors for the second straight week as the Texas RoadRunners swept a three-game series at home against the Atlanta Capitals.
Mineheine made an immediate impact in game one on Friday, Scoring four goals and adding three assists. On Saturday, Mineheine chipped in four more goals and one assist. In Sunday’s final game of the weekend Mineheine added one goal and four assists. For a total on the weekend of nine goals and eight assists for seventeen points on the weekend. To date Mineheine has tallied 31 goals and 23 assists for 54 points in 13 games and is at the top of the NA3HL in scoring.
After a weekend of stellar performances, Head Coach Mike Beavis emphasized just how impressive Wyatt Mineheine’s consistency and production have been: “Game after game, Wyatt keeps finding ways to shine, and a 4.15 points per game average makes it clear he’s on another level right now.”
