The RoadRunners will enjoy a week off before returning to College Station to begin preparation for their upcoming trip to El Paso where they will take on the Rhinos, October 14,15,16 at the El Paso County Events Center.  “The guys played well in Atlanta but there are still quite a few details we need to work a bit more on over the next few practices.  Nash Wilson was great in net and came up with some big stops especially on the  power play opportunities that Atlanta had during the weekend including the 3-4 five on three situations.” States Coach Mike Beavis

The three games were played mainly with special teams most of the weekend which hurt the flow of the games a bit and also lead to some very tired special teams guys on both sides. The Runners moved to 5-1-0 on the season and took control of first place in the south with 10 points which is also good for third place over all in the NA3HL.  Coach Beavis’s team looks decent in the early goings but he also insists that they have to do much better with the little things if they are going to be in it for the long haul.
