“All in all I am happy with the weekend.  We were short handed with a rash of injuries that we felt hurt our line-up big time but the rest of the guy’s all stood up and came to play.  We have a couple weeks off to get back to healthy and prepare for Louisiana to come to town.  If I was to say if this was a good time to be banged up I wouldn’t be joking.” states Coach Beavis

“The team battled through adversity this weekend to say the least.  I was personally impressed with their effort late in the games as they showed their potential early on this season for sure.” added Coach Eric Brule

The Runners will get back to work this week and begin preparing  for the Drillers that will come to town November 18-20 @ the Spirit Ice Arena in Bryan / College Station.  This will be a huge battle for top spot in the NA3HL as both teams currently have 26 points in the standings with the Runners carrying a game in hand.  Friday and Saturday games will begin at 7:30 PM CST and Sunday puck drop is 2:15 PM CST.  Be sure to catch all the action live or as always on HockeyTV.com
