The Roadrunners swept the Pelham Prowlers last weekend to open the 2025-2026 at the top of the leader board.  The Runners currently have six players in the top 10 in scoring as well as the top three goaltenders in the NA3HL according to league standings.

Texas R 5 @ Pelham 1 – The Pelham Prowlers opened their inaugural season by taking on the Texas Roadrunners in an exciting Southeast Division matchup. While it was a historic night for the Prowlers, it was the more experienced Roadrunners that would come out on top. Texas opened the scoring with a short-handed goal from Logan Diskey, followed by a point from Michael Garrett. Garrett went on to complete a hat trick, scoring again in the second and third. The Roadrunners’ other goal came from Wyatt Mineheine who beat Prowlers’ goaltender, Garrett Ambrose, with a low wrist shot in the second. Pelham’s lone goal, and first in team history, was scored unassisted by Jacob Harrison. This goal followed a team timeout after a few missed scoring chances. Despite the loss, Ambrose played an incredible game for the Prowlers, battling a total of 54 shots in many high pressure moments.

Texas R 12 @ Pelham 0 – In their second matchup of the weekend, the Texas RoadRunners took on the Pelham Prowlers at Pelham Civic Complex in Pelham, Alabama. Coming off of a 5-1 win, The RoadRunners kept the momentum going as they defeated the Prowlers 12-0 in an action-packed shutout–and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
