“We still have not found our rhythm and need to start controlling the play and make teams adjust to our speed and skill.  It’s easy to relax and just do what is needed to win but to become a top team we need to focus on playing at the same high level each day no matter the opponent.” Stated Runners Head Coach Mike Beavis.

Beavis was not at all impressed with his teams efforts in the early going and stressed the need for them to play to their full potential every game.  The Roadrunners are a very talented team and should adjust as the season progresses.  They can be a very fun team to watch and if they can find a competitive balance they just could be around late in the post season.

The Runners will get back to work on Tuesday with an off weekend coming up they will still be working on preparing for  six consecutive games vs. the El Paso Rhinos.  The two teams will meat in Bryan / College Station Friday and Saturday October 11th and 12th  at 7:00PM as well as Sunday the 13th  Then they will play the following weekend in El Paso.
