The Texas Roadrunners made an off season trade to pick up forward Skylar Bawcom from the Norwich Sea Captains. Bawcom, the 19 year old from Lucas, TX. Will re-unite with former teammates Carson Spear and Noble Cook this season in a move that could give the Runners the scoring power they were looking for. At 6′ 180 Bawcom will add size and skill to an already strong Runners team. “I had the opportunity to make a deal to pick up Skylar this off season and I jumped at the chance. I watched him play two seasons ago with the Texas Tigers and wanted him back then. I am very excited he will be with us this season and we are looking for big things from him.” Stated RoadRunners Head Coach Mike Beavis
Bawcom will add to the RoadRunners already strong group of players returning and rookies in which Beavis said will be a very exciting team to watch. The RoadRunners will begin training camp on Monday September 2nd at 8 am @ “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan College Station.
