Luke Weisman will be the first local player from College Station to join the RoadRunners. Weisman the 17 year old defenseman played a couple games last season for the Runners as well as with the Houston Wild 18U program and the College Station HS team. Weisman is 6’1 160 lbs. “Luke is a player we wanted to stay with us last season and are happy that he decided to join us this year. We were hoping to add a hometown guy and Luke will be a big addition to our program. He has decent size and with his age should be a promising prospect for the NAHL in a season or two.” stated Coach Mike Beavis
Having a local player for the fans to cheer on will add to the growing fanbase that the Roadrunners have been compiling over the past few seasons and this years team is sure to impress. The Runners have a few more new additions to this seasons team and will then begin to re-introduce the returning players as well as our Captains for the 2022-2023 season over the next two weeks.
