The RoadRunners completed training camp this past weekend and enjoyed a couple off days before getting back to work Tuesday morning. The team will continue to prepare for opening weekend beginning Tuesday morning at the “Spirit Ice Arena” The team will face off VS their divisional rivals, the Atlanta Capitals this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Game time Friday and Saturday at 6:15 PM and Sundays puck drop will be at 5:30 PM CDT.
The RoadRunners staff feel very good about this years team and feel they will make a very big statement this season in the southern division. “The guys are working hard and really coming together as a group”. states assistant coach Ryan Scheide. Head Coach Mike Beavis added, “We are getting there for sure. It’s all a big process and time will tell where we are and what we will need to work on to get guys where they need to be to accomplish our goals.”
The team will hit the ice this week and install systems as well as implement their game plans for the upcoming weekend.
