RoadRunners Chip in to help with “Field of Valor”

Nov 10, 2022

This past weekend the RoadRunners were out in the community once again.  This time they were helping the Rotary club with setting up the “Field of Valor”  to honor active military veterans, first responders and health care workers for their selfless service.  The team helped with the placement of the 1000 flags at Veterans park in Bryan, TX.

“The guy’s were fantastic and worked very hard to help with the process of setting up the flags and we were told that it was done in the quickest time in history to complete the project.  It’s always great to hear good things about the guys and we really want to be a part of this community for many years to come.” stated Community Relations Manager Jeannie Beavis

Beavis went onto say that many of the players also jumped back into action later on Saturday evening to help out with “Try Hockey for Free Day” sponsored by the Brazos County Hockey Club at Spirit Ice Arena.  The program was a huge success and will play a big part of growing local youth hockey in Bryan / College Station.
