Texas Roadrunners Captain Hank Garrett has committed to attend Western New England College and play for the Golden Bears next season. WNEC plays in the Conference of New England NCAA D-3 Matt Smith is the Head Coach of the team located in Springfield, MA. “I’m excited to welcome Hank to Western New England University. He’s a high character competitor who will help shape this next chapter of Golden Bear Hockey.” Stated Smith
Garrett, who appeared in 43 games with the Roadrunners so far this season has tallied 22 goals and 22 assists with a plus / minus of +18. Garret the twenty year old from Woodbury, MN spent last season with the Wausau Cyclones of the NA3HL and is also a product of the Shattuck St. Mary’s 18U AAA program. Garrett was also selected to this seasons NA3HL Top Prospects team and represented team South / Southeast.
