The Texas RoadRunners are back in action this weekend as they take on the Mid Cities Stars Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan College Station TX. The RoadRunners are trying to build off their last game VS Atlanta where the team pulled off a dramatic 5-4 overtime win in front of their hometown crowd.
This past weekend the team enjoyed an early off weekend but were back at work this week preparing for this weekends contest. “This weekend should be a pretty good match up as I have watched the Stars play over their past few games and I think we are pretty much even as far as depth and talent goes.” States Coach Mike Beavis Both teams are tied with the Brahamas currently in third pace in the southern division. “We are hoping to put some ground between us and the Stars this week and make a move up in the standings before we start to prepare for the Northeast showcase in Attleboro, MA. October 6th – 8th.” Added coach Ryan Scheide.
