North Olmsted Eagles high school standout and captain Riley Vertosnik has recently signed to play for the RoadRunners for the 2019-2020 season. “Riley treats every game as the big game and always comes back to the bench with an empty tank. He was captain of our team for a reason” states North Olmsted Coach Ben Palocko
Vertosnik will be counted on this season as well both on and off the ice. “I watched Riley quite a bit at the Odessa Jackalopes main camp and was very impressed with his work ethic and skill set. I think he will be a big addition to the program and we have had some great conversations about the upcoming season. ” States RoadRunners coach Mike Beavis
Vertosnik isn’t the first player that has come out of Ohio for Beavis, Tommy Kilway, Ben White and Joey Gallo, are three former players (Now all at Kent State) that also played for Beavis in the NA3HL
