Paradiso makes the jump to NA3HL

Aug 29, 2019

Cam Paradiso of San Angelo, TX. has joined the RoadRunners for the 2019-2020 season.  Paradiso, originally from Attleboro, MA.  moved to the Odessa Texas area eight years ago where he played for the Odessa Jacks youth program and High School programs as well as the New Mexico RoadRunners U-16 program.

Paradiso is not unfamiliar with the RoadRunners coaching staff as his older brother Christian played with assistant coach Ryan Scheide for Head Coach Mike Beavis in Syracuse, NY. a few years back.  “Knowing the family for both Coach Scheide and I, we know that the this should be a good fit.  Cam is a hard worker and has good skills that should help him with the transition to this level of play.” States Beavis

The team also sees this as a good fit as the relationship with Odessa is growing and could provide players coming up through the youth ranks another option for their career progression and goals of making the jump to the NAHL in the future.

Coach Beavis will be returning to Bryan/ College Station this weekend after working with the Odessa Jackalopes staff this past week during training camp.  The Jacks leave Friday morning for Shreveport, LA.  to play two exhibition games this weekend VS the MudBugs before returning to Odessa for week number two of camp.  “Working with Todd and Adam was great this past week, we were able to talk about some of the players as well as to speak about the roll our program will play in player development for the Jacks.  I think that we have created a great relationship in a short time period and we all feel that this could be a very big step in the NA3HL to NAHL  player development process.” added Beavis

Training camp will begin Tuesday the 3rd for the RoadRunners at the “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan / College Station.
