The Texas RoadRunners will open their 2022-2023 season this weekend at home VS the Austin Ice Bats. The Runners will host the Bats at “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan / College Station this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 2:15 PM.
The Runners are coming off their best season ever in 2021-2022 finishing with a 31-13-2-1 record, good for 12th overall in the NA3HL. The Runners made their way to the division finals before their season came to an end. This season the Runners are hoping to improve on last year and have one goal in mind. “The Fraser Cup Championship”
The current squad has been working very hard over the past few weeks and Coach Mike Beavis is very happy in what he sees early on. “It’s early but I am seeing some good stuff, we have fourteen returners this season and a skilled group of new players to add to the mix.” states Beavis
The team looks to be focused and determined to take care of their unfinished business from last year and it will all begin to play out this weekend as the team will begin 2022-2023 at home. Tickets will be on sale at the door beginning at 6 PM Friday with warm ups beginning at 7 PM and Opening Night introductions just before our 7:30 PM puck drop.
