Odessa’s Noble Cook Back with Roadrunners

Aug 23, 2024

Noble Cook will once again be a huge part of the Texas Roadrunners.  Cook, the 20 year old from Odessa, TX. appeared in 44 games last season and chipped in 16 goals and 23 assists for 39 points to go along with a +26 “Noble is a very deceptive player and will catch you off guard to say the least.  He has great vision on the ice and seems to find areas to slip into and makes things happen.” States Runners Coach Mike Beavis

Cook is a fun player to watch as his style of play is very exciting but at times a bit reckless.  Coach Beavis went onto say that Cook was the first player in years that he mistakenly overlooked during the first half of last season. “I don’t remember when i mis-judged a guy like I did with Cookie… As the season went on I started to see what guys were telling me about this kid and what do you know, they were right.  I guess you have to re-learn things from time to time and with Noble that was the case.  He is a great kid with a sense of humor and a ton of skill and all I can say is I love the kid ! ” Added Beavis

Cook will join his teammates for training camp in a bit over a week to prepare for the 2024-2025 season and odds are he will be up there on Coach Beavis’s depth chart without a doubt.
