Defenseman Nick Lucas will be back in the RoadRunners uniform this season. Lucas the 18 year old from Masa, AZ. tallied five goals and three assists in 35 games in his rookie season in the NA3HL.
“Getting back Nick was great for us, with his physical style of play he will help us out on the back end for sure and combine that to having one of the hardest shots on the team we feel he could be looking at a great season. ” States assistant coach Caleb Fitzpatrick.
Lucas at 5’10 190lbs, loves the physical side of the game and shows it day in and day out. added Runners coach Mike Beavis. Beavis went onto say that the young defenseman should turn some heads this season with the exciting style he presents.
Lucas and his teammates will hit the ice tomorrow at the “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan / College Station, TX. to begin the 2021-2022 seasons training camp.
