Neckar Scores first NAHL Goal

Jan 10, 2022

Former RoadRunner Ty Neckar netted his first NAHL goal this past Saturday with the Odessa Jackalopes as they faced off against the Amarillo Wranglers in a South Division showdown.  Neckar scored at 11:05 of the second period to start the potential comeback for the Jacks in their eventual 5-3 loss to the Wranglers.

Neckar now has two points in two games with the Jackalopes on the season and in 21 games with the Roadrunners he added three goals and eleven assists.  “We were all happy for Ty to hear that he got his first in the NAHL and to know that he is fitting in well and making a contribution with the Jacks.” states Coach Mike Beavis  Although the young player is seeing plenty of game time with the parent club Beavis also knows its a process to stick with the NAHL and there are many things that Neckar will have to adjust to solidify a permanent spot with the club.

The RoadRunners would like to wish Ty well and will be following his progress with the parent club over the next few weeks.
