Charlie Mclellan will re-join his team for 2024-2025 with hopes of a big second season with the Runners. Mclellan the 19 year old F/D from “The Woodlands” Tx. will be looking to step into a more stable role with this years squad. Last season he was called upon to help shore up a defense corps that needed a bit more at times. “Charlie is a great kid and I really appreciate him helping out last season on the back end. This year I hope to help him find his spot on the offensive side of the puck.” States Runners Coach Mike Beavis.
Beavis referred to Mclellan as a utility player with good skills and a very coachable kid that just wants to help his team. Hockey is in Mclellan’s blood for sure and if he pans out to even a bit of a resemblance to his uncle and former NHL player Adrian Aucoin he could be a force to be reckoned with.
Mclellan will join his team on Monday September 2nd when the Runners open ‘Training Camp 2024-2025″ @ Spirit Ice Arena in Bryan / College Station, TX.
