Marsico Commits to George Mason

May 20, 2022

The Texas RoadRunners are excited to announce that Captain Tim Marsico has committed to attend George Mason University this fall.  Marsico spent two seasons with the Runners appearing in 82 games and adding 30 goals and 34 assists for 64 points.

‘”We are glad that Tim chose a school that fits his academic needs and will be continuing his hockey career with the Patriots this coming season.  He was a great guy to have around over the past two seasons and will be missed for sure.” states Head Coach Mike Beavis   The Runners only had a couple age outs this past year and will retain most of their team from last season.  “We had quite a few guys commit to returning this season, most likely due to the guys feeling we had unfinished business during our playoff run.  We also have tendered and signed several new faces and had a good draft as well.  Basically with the exception of a couple spots to fill we are ready to go for sure.”  added Beavis

The RoadRunners will be announcing all the recent additions to the team later this summer as well as re-introducing the returning players.  The staff feels that this could be the biggest season yet for the team that made huge strides last season in becoming one of the top teams in the NA3HL.

The RoadRunners staff is now focused on the parent clubs upcoming camps and have been busy throughout the early off season speaking with Odessa Jackalopes hopefuls that will be attending the camps looking to make the jump to the NAHL this season.

Once again the Runners staff would like to Congratulate Captain Tim Marsico on a job well done and wish him all the best in the future on the ice and in the classroom.
