Lasitsa Tenders with Runners

May 26, 2020

Max Lasitsa  has tendered with the Texas RoadRunners for the 2020-2021 season.  Lasitsa the 19 year old forward from Minsk Belarus is a highly skilled player that is 6′ 175 and will be a great addition to the Runners team for the upcoming season.

“Max skated with us last season but due to roster constrictions with imports was unable to be rostered with us.  He has great skills and can shoot the puck.  We feel that he will be a big addition to our offense this season and can’t wait to see him in action.” states Coach Beavis

When asked about the upcoming season Max had this to say,  “Before I came to the U.S.  I played with the Junost-Minsk team.  My plan is to do everything I can to become a better player.   One of my goals is to try and be the best player at main camp with Odessa (NAHL) and to be a top player for the RoadRunners and help as much as possible to make the team a championship contender.  I would also like to make the jump to the NAHL at some point this season.  I am hoping to reach my dream of playing NCAA hockey and then move onto helping others achieve their dreams as well.”

The early spring signings for the RoadRunners are creating quite a stir in central Texas and the home fans are getting ready for some of the best hockey the area has seen in awhile.  The Runners will be spotlighting several more players over the next few weeks leading up to training camp which will be held at “The Spirit Ice Arena” in late August.
