Krzysztof Jakubowski will be between the pipes this season for the Roadrunners. Jakubowski is a 19 year old from Austin, TX. and was rated one of the top goaltenders in the NA3HL last season In 24 games with the NM Ice Wolves last year Jakubowski posted a 2.5 GAA and .899 SV% with three shutouts.
“Krzysztof was a big part of why we didn’t advance to the division finals last year and he became available… So, we made a trade for him and eliminated the potential of having him repeat the same going down the stretch this season. He is a very good goaltender and wanted to play in College Station. He had a great showing at the Odessa Jackalopes main camp in Chicago and impressed the entire staff which could lead to a potential call up during the season.” Stated Head Coach Mike Beavis
With the the addition of both Jakubowski and Hunter Houle and the return of Jimmy Packee the Roadrunners look to be set with solid goaltending for the 2023-2024 season.
