Ketterman, Marsico to lead Runners for 2021-2022

Sep 12, 2021

Jaron Ketterman and Tim Marsico will lead this seasons squad.

Ketterman, from Palmer Alaska came to the Runners last season in a mid season trade with the Texas Brahmas.  The  5’11 175lb 20 year old tallied 11 points in 16 games with the team last season. The 20 year old Ketterman has been described as a hard working guy with a ton of speed and great vision on the ice.  “Jaron has a great mindset, he is a team first guy with a very high work ethic.  He has the ability to create opportunities on the ice strictly based on his speed and vision.” Sates Runners Coach Mike Beavis

Marsico, hails from Monument, Colorado and is also in his second season with the team.  The 5’10 200lb  gritty forward uses both his skill and physical play to keep opponents at bay. “Mars is a very physical force on the ice which tends to create space for himself to then let his skills take over.  He’s a guy that wears his emotions on his sleeves for sure.  This season he is driven to success and should catch the eye of several NCAA D-lll programs as he will definitely fit the blue collar model of most programs.” added Beavis.  Marsico looks to add to his 24 points in 40 games last season with the team and help bring the playoffs to Bryan / College Station come next March.

Both Ketterman and Marsico were selected to represent the RoadRunners in last years NA3HL “Top Prospects” tournament in St. Louis and are looking to improve not only on their rookie seasons but to lead their team in the hunt for the Fraser Cup.
