Ajay Johnson will join former linemate Shayden Davis with the Roadrunners this season. Both Davis and Johnson are coming from from the Alaska All-Stars 18U AA team and were highly recommended by Alaska’s HC Jake Johnson (No relation)
Johnson, the 18 year old high skilled forward from Eagle River, AK will add a ton of offense to the Runners line-up. “I got a call early this spring from Jake Johnson (AK All Stars Coach) about Ajay and a couple other players looking to jump into juniors and specifically the NA3HL. Both Ajay and Shayden were wanting to continue to play together and I was told I could not go wrong with either player. We tendered Shayden and offered Ajay as well…In late May Ajay called and said he was going to defer from college for a year and wanted to play. The rest is basically history. I watched them both compete at Odessa’s main Camp and feel that they will both be huge additions to our program.” Stated HC Mike Beavis
