“We are very happy to have Jaeger join our hockey family.  He is a great young man that fits in well with our guys.  He will have an opportunity to compete in practice to earn time in net while receiving a great education.  We pride ourselves in not only recruiting hockey players but also great people like Jaeger.”  Stated Doug Schueller, Saint John’s Head Coach

“Jaeger was a great guy to have around last season and worked hard both on and off the ice.  We are extremely happy that he chose Saint John’s as his school as it was on the top of his list all last season for academics as well as hockey.  Jaeger wanted a smaller school setting for his education and felt that Saint John’s was a good fit.  When speaking with Jaeger last week he was very happy with his choice and opportunity to play for the Johnnies.  Jaeger is also carrying a 3.88 GPA over the first semester.  We always stress to our guys that the better the grades and test scores you have the better the opportunities you may have.   States Runners Coach Mike Beavis

The RoadRunners work very hard in setting a path to college for their players and believe that every player should have the chance to play at some level after juniors based on educational needs as well as skill level.

The entire staff of the RoadRunners would like to wish Jager Reed and SJU Hockey all the best !
