Jack Klunk joins the Runners for 2021-2022

Aug 12, 2021

Forward Jack Klunk from Manahawkin, NJ. has joined the Runners for the upcoming season.  Klunk is described as a crafty two way player that has even seen times at Defense during his career but will be utilized as a two way center in Texas.

Klunk the 18 year old is not only crafty and plays with an edge but can also find the back of the net.  “Jack wanted to play for us this season and I made it a point to see him at the NAHL Combine in NJ this spring.  It didn’t take long for me to realize his strengths.  After spending some time with Jack and his dad we all knew this would be a great fit.” States Runners Coach Mike Beavis

Coach Beavis went onto say that Jack showed that same skill level at the Odessa Jackalopes main camp in Chicago last month which he said was an even better sign.

The RoadRunners hit the ice on Monday September 6th for training camp and kick off the regular season at home VS the Mid Cities Stars on Friday September 17th at 7:30 PM @ “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan / College Texas.
