Joey Izzo from New Lenox, IL will join the RoadRunners for the 2024=2025 season. Izzo, the 18 year old forward played with the Orland Park Vikings 18U AA in the CSDHL / NAT1HL the past few seasons. The 5’9 150lb Izzo will bring with him a very exciting style of play from our conversations with Head Coach Mike Beavis. “Joey will instantly become a fan favorite and I am excited with his style of play. He is a smaller player but is rock solid with great speed and sees the ice well, He is gritty and can put pucks in the net. This kid is legit and I am very excited to get him on our ice this year.” stated Beavis
Beavis went onto say that Orland Park Vikings Coach and Hockey Director Nick Pollos played a big roll in helping the RoadRunners this season with promoting their players onto the NA3HL and the RoadRunners as a great place to develop.
