Aug 11, 2022

Dustin Hultberg comes to the RoadRunners from the Clearwater Ice storm 18U.  The 18 year old originally from Jamestown, NY is an astounding 6’7 210 lbs will be a big addition to the Runners defensive corps.  ” I watched Dustin this past season at an NAPHL showcase in Dallas and when speaking with his coach after the game he asked if there was anyone I was interested in and I told him that I would be interested in Dustin for sure.  We all know that there are only two things we can’t teach, one is work ethic and the second is size and Dustin has the size part pretty well figured out.” stated Coach Beavis

Beavis had the opportunity to coach Hultberg at the Odessa Jackalopes main camp in Chicago and was impressed with how well he played having grown a good two inches since last year.  The Runners will count on Hultberg to help shore up the blue line with the departure of both Ethan Sodoma and Spencer Platt from last seasons team.  When asked what his goals are for this season and for the future Hultberg replied, “My goals for this season are to be an influential member of this team and to win a league championship.  I also strive to develop my skills and heighten my compete level to play in the NAHL and NCAA College hockey.”
