Houston Wild’s Wicker Joins the Runners

Aug 11, 2022

Houston’s Brandon Wicker will suit up this season for the RoadRunners.  The 18 year old will join the teams defensive squad and will be a good addition to the program.   Wicker has had an impressive youth career and now will try to make his way through juniors and off to the College level of play in the future.  When asked about his past experience and what his plans are for this year and the future Wicker had this to say.

“Recently I played15U AAA with Dallas Stars Elite and 16U AAA with Nashville Jr Predators before returning home for a year to play with the 18U AA Houston Wild before deciding to play in the Na3hl.

My goal for this season is to develop my game and physicality further to become a strong member of the team and win the Fraser Cup.

My future goal is to make the jump to the NAHL and eventually NCAA.”  Wicker has played hockey for over 13 years and is originally from Canada but has resided in the U.S. for the past 7 years.

Be sure to catch Brandon and the RoadRunners as they begin preparation for the 2022-2023 season with the opening of the teams training camp on Monday September 5th.
