Goaltender Alex Opalacz has signed with the RoadRunners for the 2021-2022 season. Opalacz from Houston, TX. will add to an already impressive goaltending trio that will mind the Runners net this season. “We took a good look at Alex during the Odessa Jackalopes main camp in July and feel that he will develop into a good goaltender over the next season at the junior level.” states Head Coach Mike Beavis .
Opalacz spent last season with Cypress Woods HS as well as the Houston Wild 18U program in 34 games played the young netminder posted a GAA of 2.52 with a .900SV% with the combined two programs.
The RoadRunners have been very busy as of late with final preparations for the start of training camp that will begin on Monday September 6th at the “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan / College Station, TX.
