The RoadRunners are excited to announce that goaltender Cole Garver has been called up to the Odessa Jackalopes NAHL for this weekends games VS the Lone Star Brahmas in North Richland Hills, TX.  The Jacks and Brahmas will play a three game set beginning tomorrow evening at the Nytex Sports Center.

Garver will join the team on the road tomorrow afternoon and will be in uniform tomorrow night for the Jacks.  “We received a call from Odessa’s coach Todd Watson today asking for Cole for this weekend and without hesitation we said; What time do you need him there?” states Runners coach Mike Beavis.  The two teams have a great relationship and have been very supportive of each other this season as both coaches are in their first season with their respective teams.

Garver the 2001 from Middleton, WI. has appeared in 16 games for the Runners this year with a record of 4-7-2 with a .894 GAA  while posting two shutouts so far this season.  “It’s great to see Cole get this opportunity as he is a great kid that works hard.  He has a very good attitude and competes every day.  The kid just loves to be on the ice, and we wish him all the best with his time in Odessa.”  added Runner’s coach Ryan Scheide.
