Colorado’s Marsico Joins RoadRunners

Aug 21, 2020

Tim Marsico has joined the RoadRunners for the 2020-2021 season.  Marsico, the 2001 birth-year player from Monument, CO.  played last year with the Colorado Tigers U-18 AAA program run by Kevin Holmstrom (Odessa NAHL Scouting Staff)

The 5’10 170 lb forward plays a crafty but gritty style which will help the Runners tremendously this season.  “I had the opportunity to watch Tim play during an NAHL camp this summer and was very impressed with what I saw.  I feel he will be a top end guy for us with his gritty style and ability to find seams to the net.  His hockey vision is very good and he has decent speed and quickness and loves to mix things up.” states Head Coach Mike Beavis.

Beavis went on to say that Marsico should fit nicely in the Runners line-up that only has six veteran players returning.  “We have a very young group coming in this season but these guys have a ton of skill.  Tim will help us with his experience and skill level as well as the  maturity he brings to us.”  added Beavis

Marsico and his teammates will kick off training camp at the “Spirit Ice Arena” in Bryan / College Station, TX beginning Monday September 14th with the regular season opening weekend scheduled to begin October 2nd.  This should be a very exciting year for the RoadRunners as they have made the adjustments needed as well as added the players that will provide the makings of one of the top teams in the South division.
