Chris Young has signed with the Roadrunners for the 2021-2022 season. Young, the 17 year old forward from Tulsa, Oklahoma will add to the Runners depth this year. The 6’1″ 180lb played last season with the Arkansas Ice Hogs 18U and is looking to make the jump to the junior level of play. “It may be a bit of adjustment for Chris but we are looking forward to helping him develop over the next year and hopefully provide him with a pathway to reach his educational and hockey goals.” States Coach Caleb Fitzpatrick.
Young will join his teammates in the upcoming days to begin to prepare for what could be a very exciting season for the Roadrunners as they have compiled a very impressive group to make a run at the South division title come March.
Over the next couple of weeks the team will continue to announce this seasons new additions as well as the returning players from last season. Training camp kicks off on Monday September 6th in Bryan College Station @ the “Spirit Ice Arena”.
