Carson Spear from the Texas Tigers 18U AA will be taking the ice for the Roadrunners this season as a rookie in the NA3HL. Spear The 18 year old from Dallas, TX. will bring a very strong presence to the Runners this season. At 6’3″ 185 Spear will be that typical power forward that will be exciting to watch. Last season Spear amassed 36 points in 20 games for the Tigers. He also had one goal and one assist in the U18 AA Nationals in four games.
“Carson skated with us last year during the season and I was very excited that he was looking to tender with us early on. I knew we were losing guys like Eitan Geralnik and Tyler Love and saw Spear as a guy to replace one of those two. If he plays his game and understands the level he can achieve this season there will be a ton of programs in the NAHL that will be watching.” stated Runners Coach Mike Beavis
Spear will be arriving in College Station next week in preparation to join his new teammates for the Start of training camp beginning on Monday September 4th at 8 am
