Captain Fehlig Back to Lead RoadRunners

Jul 19, 2019

The RoadRunners are excited that Captain Brenden Fehlig has announced he will be coming back for his final season in juniors.  Fehlig, the 6’1″ 200 lb forward from Las Vegas, NV. will play a huge role in the teams success this season.  “I had a chance to meet Brenden this summer and spend some time with him and instantly knew that he was definitely the kind of character guy that we look for.  He was upfront what he is looking for this season and is a determined and goal orientated person.” stated head Coach Mike Beavis.

Fehlig, who captained the team last season is one of the most important signings of the off season as it shows that the program is going in the right direction.   This will be Brenden’s third season in the NA3HL and the team is counting on it being his biggest.

“Speaking with former coach Egan, we knew that Brenden would be a key component for rebuilding the program and getting things rolling for this year.  We also spoke about Brenden’s playing ability and feel that he will have opportunities  at the D-3 level. ” added Beavis.  “Brenden is very close to the D-3 level and with his off season work and some adjustments should make the jump after this coming season.  I know that I will be keeping an eye on him for us for sure.” states Ryan Egan.

Egan was recently named Head Coach of St. Mary’s NCAA D-3 program.

The Roadrunners will be announcing this seasons signings and running player profile stories over the next few weeks as they gear up for the 2019-20020 season.
