Brayden Ring Taken 9th Overall in 2021-2022 NA3HL Draft

Apr 29, 2021

The Texas RoadRunners have taken Brayden Ring of the Colorado Tigers 9th overall in the NA3HL entry draft.  Ring the 18 year old from Parker Colorado was selected by the team in the 1st round of the 2021-2022 draft.  Ring is currently tendered with New Mexico in the NAHL and the Runners are hoping that he sticks with the NAHL team but if he needs a bit more time to make the jump they would welcome him to the team and begin the process of helping him work his way back up to the NAHL.

“Brayden was with the Tigers NAPHL team and I had the opportunity to watch him play in Dallas this season and was very impressed.  I let him know before the draft that we would be selecting him with our first round pick.  I also let hem know that we were hoping that he would stick with New Mexico but if things didn’t work as planned we would be here to help get him back on track to the NAHL.”  States Runners Head Coach Mike Beavis

The Runners will be announcing all of their tenders in the upcoming week as they are busy with all aspects of creating the best possible team they can ice for the upcoming season.  With the NAHL Combines and parent club the Odessa Jackalopes pre and main camps coach Beavis and his staff feel that this could be the best season yet for the RoadRunners.  “We have been very busy over the past few months with recruitment for next season and have some very good talent that we have tendered and with potentially adding Brayden to the mix I feel we could be the team that people will be looking at as we enter the 2021-2022 season.” added Beavis

The Runners will be a huge presence at the NAHL Combines this season looking for players that may have a shot with their NAHL club in Odessa or as players for the Runners in the 3HL.
