Trevor Borlace has signed to return to the club for the 2019-2020 season.  Borlace, the power forward from Negaunee, Mi.  will enter his second season with the team, last year he had 15 goals and 10 assists in 45 games.  The 5’11 200 lb Borlace will be a force to recon with this season as he is determined to help his team make a statement.  “I want to be part of turning things around in Texas and am excited for the changes that have been made.  I am looking to make the jump to college hockey after this season and feel that this is my best opportunity”. states, Borlace.

Borlace and the RoadRunners will begin training camp on September 3rd at the Spirit Ice Arena, in Bryan, College Station, TX.

This past week the staff was hard at work with things both at the rink and also helping out with Kenai River at their main camp in Champlin, MN.  “We had a tender and draft pick out in Kenai,  forward Jacob Cummings and defenseman Brice French.  Both played well and I had the opportunity to speak with them about this season.  We always root for our guys to make the jump to the NAHL and they both know that as well as they also were reassured that if things didn’t work out in Kenai they had a home in Texas.” stated Coach Mike Beavis
