The Texas Roadrunners are elated to once again have Mike Beavis back in College Station as Head Coach and GM for his seventh season with the team.  Beavis announced his return to the Roadrunners late last week after a brief absence from Texas shortly after last season.  “Definitely excited to be back home and get ready for the season.” stated Beavis.

The Roadrunners fell short of the playoffs last season as they finished fifth in the South division with a record of 16-27-5-0.  This season the team will join the newly formed Southeast division and travel to both Lafayette and Monroe, LA.  as well as Pelham, AL., Greer, SC and Atlanta, GA.  “The Southeast expansion is a project that we worked on for quite a few years and it was great to see that it finally came together.  Danny Smith (Louisiana Drillers) and Tyler Giwerowski (NA3HL/ NAHL Director, Hockey Operations.) and I worked very hard with the expansion and the logistics of this project.” added Beavis

Beavis is busy prepping for the 2025-2026 season as well as back to work as senior scout with the Odessa Jackalopes, NAHL.  The Roadrunners are returning ten players and have tendered five along with four draft picks and have a very good base for the upcoming season. “We are still looking to fill some spots over the next two months to sew up our roster and I have been busy over the past few days trying to work out a few deals to bring in some key players.” states, Beavis

The Roadrunners will hit the ice on Monday September 1st for the beginning of training camp for the 2025-2026 season.  The team will begin announcing their returning players, tenders, drafts and new signings later this summer.
