Aug 20, 2021

Sam Bourdon from Anchorage Alaska has signed with the RoadRunners for the 2021-2022 season.  Bourdon, the 20 year is a 6′ 180lb forward that spent the past two season with the Bozeman Ice Dogs.  “Sam will add to our veteran presence this season which we feel will be a great mix with our younger players.”  states assistant coach Caleb Fitzpatrick.

Bourdon had 23 points in 37 games last season in Bozeman and will be looking to increase those numbers this season to get on the radar of some NCAA D-lll schools. “Our goal this year with Sam is to help him land his college commitment.  With our network of schools and my support staff throughout the NCAA community I feel confident that we can get Sam some definite choices that will match his educational needs as well as his hockey abilities.” added Coach Mike Beavis.

Bourdon is only one of three Runners that will be age-out players this season and the staff feel confident that all three of their 20 year old’s are legitimate college players.  The team will count heavily on the trio to help lay the groundwork for the younger members of the program for the future.
