Klunk, Back with Runners for 22-23 Season

Aug 25, 2022

Jack Klunk has rejoined the team for the 2022-2023 season.  Klunk, the 19 year old forward from NJ appeared in 45 games with the Runners last season chipping in 7 goals and 10 assists.  The 5’10 160lb player can play both forward as well as defense when needed. “Jack is a great kid that is always happy. He plays a full 200′ when he is on the ice.  He can kill penalties as well as center a strong defensive line when needed.” states Coach Mike Beavis

Klunk will be depended on this season as one of the teams veteran players that can play the game at both ends of the ice.  This will be a roll that Beavis will use this year as he is building a very deep line-up that he hopes will place his team at the top of the highly touted South Division of the NA3HL.

It all begins September 16th @ Spirit Ice Arena in Bryan / College Station where the RoadRunners will host the Austin Ice Bats in a three game homestand to open up the Regular season of the NA3HL.  Friday and Saturday puck drop is @ 7:30Pm and Sunday @ 2:15PM.  You can catch all the action live or as always @ hockeytv.com
